THE SYNCHRONIZATION OF A GENERATING SET
TO THE MAIN ELECTRIC NETWORK AND/OR ANOTHER GENERATING SET
When switching on, generating set, with the help
of the operator GCP30, synchronizes to the main electric network.
Generating set works with minimal power. In the case of electricity
cut off, generating set starts supplying the users 100% without
interruptions of the electricity supply. When the connection with
the electricity grid is re-established, generating set again works
with minimal power. In this way, we assure the users continuous
electricity supply. This is extremely important in buildings where
not even short power failures can be allowed (operation wards,
television broadcasts, protected buildings, hospitals…).
The synchronization enables parallel operation of several generating
sets together and/or parallel operation with the electricity grid.
The RGK 60 is a microprocessor module for the
control of generating sets. It is a complete metering system with
excellent measurement technology. The main goal of this new unit
has been the elimination for the communication barriers between
man and machine. The use of a large display screen and supervision
software dedicated to rationally interact with the operator has
consented to reach this intent.

of one or more RGK 60 units through RS-485 or RS-232, normal or
GSM modem network. The RGK SW20 software (which includes RGK SW10
software) consents to:
-
• Set parameters
• Converge all data and information of the RGK 60 units, connected
through the RS-485 network, on to a central personal computer
(PC)
• Display data by means of graphic analogue and digital instrument
drawings, bar graphs and pages with all measurement details

to automatically connect itself to the remote PC, through normal
or GSM modem, at any alarm event. The GSM modem thereby enables
to transmit event messages by SMS (cellular telephone system)
or e-mail.
HOUSINGS
Sound
insulated housings are powdery painted and typically prepared
for individual complexes of generating sets. The housings are
suitable for an external set up and are resistant to weather impacts.
They are sound insulated and reduce the noise of a generating
set to 50 – 70dBA at 7m distance (depending on the type of the
genset). For generating sets of larger dimensions container housings
are used instead of the classic sound insulated housings. Container
housings are just as well created for the protection of generating
sets against external impacts; they reduce the level of noise,
etc. On the longer edges of the housing (container), doors with
locks are made for easy access and service of the generating set.
On the housing’s shorter edge, on the engine side, blinds are
arranged for the egression of heated air. The housings are attached
directly to baseplates with screws and are easily dismantled.
GENERATING SETS ON CARAVANS
Generating sets can also be mounted on transportable caravans,
which enable to move a generating set. The caravans have one or
two axes (depending on the size and weight of the genset), with
an attachable handle, a third wheel with brake, a traffic brake,
traffic signalization and winter-summer pneumatic tires. The caravans
comply with the traffic regulations (homologation, congruity declaration,
etc.). The caravans’ maximum speed is 80 km/h.
COUPLING
Directly through the coupling and flange – of monoblock made.
BASEPLATE
“Heavy duty” baseplate – welded steel baseplate. A generating
set is fastened on the baseplate with anti-vibration carriers
that prevent transmission of vibrations to the ground of the room.
The baseplate is designed to enable simple lifting and moving
the generating set.
FUEL TANK
The fuel tank is mounted on the inside of the baseplate. Under
to the fuel tank, a collecting vessel is mounted, which prevents
outpouring of any liquid from the generating set into the environment.
The tanks have an adjusted opening that enables fuelling with
a measuring instrument. Besides the standard fuel tank we have
also larger freestanding, double-sheated tanks with fuel level
display and outpouring control of liquid to offer. These tanks
are separated from the generating sets and come in volume size
of 1000, 1500 or 2000 litres.
SAFETY LIMITS
All parts that revolve or are hot are protected from accidental
contacts complying with the EC norms.
SERVICE
Besides installation, the company offers service of the purchased
generating sets. The engines are recommended to be serviced at
least once a year or on every 400 hours of working.
When servicing the generator sets, we use only original parts.
We give a 12-month warranty on the work of our servicemen and
spare parts.
